Anukreethy VAS to be paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in Ponram's film

It definitely looks like Anukreethy VAS (Femina Miss India World 2018) will be teaming up with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi in a film, which will be directed by Ponram. The film is being billed as a rural masala entertainer with ample dose of comedy, love and action, and is set against the backdrop of Dindigul. The film was supposed to go on floors in May 2020, but the pandemic played spoilsport. With VSP getting busy with a few of his other films, Ponram went on to helm MGR Magan. The makers commenced the project a few days ago. An official announcement on the female lead is expected from the team soon. Meanwhile, the production house had announced that the music for the film will be composed by Imman. This is the fourth time the music director is teaming up with Ponram. As per the current plan, the shooting will happen in Palani, Theni, Dhanushkodi and Pollachi. The crew will take a break for a month after completing the current schedule.
