RJ Balaji to do the Tamil remake of Ayushmann Khurrana's Hindi comedy 'Badhaai Ho'

The 2018 comedy drama 'Badhaai Ho' starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in the lead roles was a great hit and the film bagged four Filmfare Awards. Recently several Hindi films are being remade in Tamil as well as Tamil movies are getting great reception in Hindi. As per the latest report, RJ Balaji will be making the Tamil remake of Ayushmann Khurrana's Hindi comedy 'Badhaai Ho'. Now, RJ Balaji has reportedly planned to do the Tamil remake of 'Badhaai Ho', and the film is to be titled as 'Veetla Visheshanga', a title from K Bhagyaraj's 1994 Tamil film. RJ Balaji has informed K Bhagyaraj about his plans for the Tamil remake of 'Badhaai Ho', and reportedly asked permission for reusing the film title. Also, RJ Balaji will be joining hands with Boney Kapoor for the remake, since he is the one who owns the Tamil remake rights.
