When Suriya broke his promise for Lokesh Kanagaraj and 'Vikram'

Suriya has been impressing the masses with his versatile performances, recently his special appearance in Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' received huge responses from fans. Suriya made a special appearance as a ruthless gangster Rolex in the climax of 'Vikram', and he was also spotted smoking a cigarette in the scene, which the actor never attempted before. Lokesh Kanagaraj felt that without a smoking sequence, the scene would not look appealing and hence he forced Suriya to have a smoke. Suriya then broke his policy for his character in 'Vikram'. It is worth mentioning that Suriya didn't charge for his short role in 'Vikram', and acted in the film as goodwill for his bonding with Kamal Haasan. Suriya's character will be the main antagonist of 'Vikram' next part, and he will be battling with Kamal Haasan in the sequel. 'Vikram' is about a RAW agent's battle for a drug-free society, and the action-packed film turned out to be the biggest hit of all time by grossing over Rs 400 crores. Kamal Haasan plays the main role, while Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Chemban Vinod, and Kalidas Jayaram among others play crucial roles. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music, and his music made the film more powerful.
