Diljit Dosanjh has earned International Emmy Award nomination in 2025 for Best Performance by an Actor, for his powerful portrayal of Punjabi folk legend Amar Singh Chamkila in the Netflix biopic 'Amar Singh Chamkila'. The film also got nominated in the TV Movie / Mini-Series category, marking a double recognition at the global stage. Diljit credited director Imtiaz Ali and the support from Netflix India for the nomination, expressing humility and pride over the global appreciation of stories from Punjab.
