Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is confident of his party’s return to power in the state. Despite factionalism, rising crime against women and cases of alleged corruption have dogged his government, Gehlot is banking on sops to beat anti-incumbency in the desert state. Gehlot said that the formula of Karnataka will be implemented in the state as he has already announced cheap gas cylinders, free power, and free smartphone scheme for women. On the other hand, BJP is highlighting deteriorating law and order, rising crimes against women and corruption to unseat Gehlot from power in the upcoming assembly polls.
