Women represent almost half of the world's population, unfortunately, they are still not being treated as equal. In every step of their life, they have to face discrimination and patriarchy. As we mark International Women's Day, here is how priestess Nandini Bhowmik and her team are changing some widely held beliefs and rituals that do not conform to modern day value systems like discarding the age-old ritual of ‘kanyadaan’.
