'Time Has Come': Suvendu's 'Deportation' Warning In Bhabanipur, Vows Action Over Kolkata Violence
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said alleged infiltrators had been identified through voter lists and removed, adding that deportation should be the next step. Addressing a public meeting, he said the BJP government would fulfil its commitments and ensure national security. Adhikari also stated that those allegedly involved in corruption and illegal accumulation of property would face legal action, citing former minister Sujit Bose. Speaking in Bhabanipur, he said he had asked the Municipal Affairs Secretary and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to examine alleged property ownership irregularities and claimed properties were linked to Abhishek Banerjee, his company Leaps & Bounds, family members and the son of Javed Khan.
