U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing for a prolonged blockade of one of the world’s most critical chokepoints, the Strait of Hormuz. A move that could reshape not just the war but the global economy too. According to a Wall Street Journal report, Trump on Monday instructed aides to prepare for an extended naval blockade, aiming to “squeeze” Iran’s economy by cutting off maritime trade to and from its ports. Behind the scenes, U.S. intelligence agencies are now assessing another critical question: What happens if Trump declares victory, and steps back? Meanwhile, Trump on Tuesday said the United States has “militarily defeated” Iran, during a state dinner at the White House attended by King Charles III and other dignitaries. In response, Iran's army spokesman confirmed on Tuesday that his country does not consider the war with the United States and Israel to be over. Watch the video for more details.
