A damaged US military aircraft has been flown out for repairs, offering a revealing glimpse into how the current pause in the Iran conflict is being used not just for diplomacy, but for a military reset. A United States Air Force KC-135 Stratot,anker, reportedly hit during an Iranian ballistic missile strike on Prince Sultan Air Base, has now reached the United Kingdom for repairs. The strike was part of a broader wave that targeted critical US assets, including multiple refuelling aircraft and even a high-value E-3 Sentry surveillance platform. These were not random hits. By striking aerial refuelling systems, Iran demonstrated an ability to degrade the backbone of US air operations the very platforms that enable long-range strikes, sustained sorties, and force projection across the region. The timing of the repair effort is significant.
