Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has ordered all military units to halt operations, but warned that the war is far from over. Iranian officials said the pause in fighting is conditional and tied to upcoming negotiations with the United States. State media claims Iran achieved “nearly all” of its war objectives after 40 days of conflict, including pushing for broader regional demands. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran will allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks, as both sides prepare for high-stakes talks in Islamabad.
