'Won't Tolerate...': Mamdani Booed As Cuomo Concedes Defeat; Blasts Mamdani Campaign

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo attempted to frame his election loss as a victory, saying his campaign aimed to challenge the philosophies shaping the Democratic Party and promote “unity.” He argued that half of New Yorkers rejected Zohran Mamdani’s agenda and warned that the city was “headed down a dangerous road.” Cuomo reiterated his stance on supporting the NYPD and opposing antisemitism — themes central to his campaign. His remarks, however, drew boos and jeers from the crowd as he criticized Mamdani’s positions.
