Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that he will no longer insist on Nato membership. Zelenskyy, however, blamed Nato for this, saying that the organisation is afraid of upsetting Russia, and is not ready to accept Ukraine. It may be recalled that the proposal of Nato membership is one of the key reasons why Russia has gone to war with Ukraine. Zelenskyy also said that he is open to discussing the status of breakaway pro-Russia regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.
