Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s handling of foreign policy, calling it “his personal foreign policy” and saying it has become a “universal joke.” He claimed that world leaders, including former US President Donald Trump, are aware of Modi’s limitations, and warned that if the Prime Minister is compromised, India’s foreign policy suffers. Rahul Gandhi also dismissed Modi’s recent speech in Parliament as irrelevant, asserting that the Prime Minister’s stance lacks clarity. He highlighted the rising LPG and petrol prices and compared the situation to the Covid crisis, emphasizing the hardships faced by ordinary citizens.
