In Panipat, Haryana, the family of India's star javelin thrower, Neeraj Chopra, erupted in celebration after his remarkable gold medal victory at the Asian Games on October 4th. Neeraj's father, Satish Kumar, expressed his confidence in his son's success, saying, "I was hopeful that we would win gold. This time, the joy for our country has doubled because we secured both gold and silver medals. Kishore Jena, who won the silver medal, is performing exceptionally well and will surely clinch gold in the future. I am equally delighted for both Neeraj and Kishore." Neeraj Chopra defended his title and made history at the event with a season's best throw of 88.88 meters in a closely contested competition between two Indian athletes.
