Chhattisgarh minister travels 250km, says 'tired of sitting at home during lockdown'

Chhattisgarh industries and excise minister Kawasi Lakhma travelled 250-kms from Raipur to Raigarh during Covid-19 lockdown. The minister said, "I was tired of sitting at home, so I came here to meet a Godman and I will return.". Later, the minister justified his visit, saying that he went to Raigarh on a “surprise visit” after he was informed about the sale of illegal liquor and decided to personally check. On the other hand, BJP has demanded an FIR against the minister for violating lockdown norms.
