Chinese Visa scam case: CBI conducts searches at Karti Chidambaram's Chennai residence

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted searches at Congress MP Karti Chidambaram's residence in Chennai. According to the officials, the searches were a part of the May 17 probe. The investigators also informed that a cupboard belonging to Congress MP's wife was found to be sealed. Karti Chidambaram's lawyer, meanwhile has issued a statement saying the CBI officials have illegally seized electronic devices belonging to Karti's daughter.
