Farmers' stir: Union minister Narendra Tomar says hopeful for positive outcome at Jan 4 meeting

As the crucial meeting is going to take place between farmers and the Centre on January 4, Union agriculture minister Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday said the government is hopeful of a "positive outcome" at its next meeting with farmers' unions on January 4 but refrained from predicting whether the seventh round of talks will be the last one, saying he is not an astrologer. On the other hand, the farmers have threatened to intensify their stir if the demands are not accepted.
