Gujarat: UP Police reaches Sabarmati jail to bring gangster Atique Ahmed to Prayagraj

Uttar Pradesh Police on April 11 reached Sabarmati jail to bring back gangster-turned-politician Atique Ahmed from Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail to Prayagraj. According to people known in the matter, Atique will be produced for a medical test by the police before leaving for Prayagraj. Atique Ahmed is currently lodged in a Gujarat prison as the main accused in the 2005 murder case of BSP legislator Raju Pal. Also, he is accused of killing Umesh Pal, the prime witness in the 2005 BSP MLA Raju Pal along with his aides
