Markets abuzz with Eid shoppers as countdown to Eid-ul-Fitr begins

As the holy month of Ramadan is nearing its conclusion, Kashmir is gearing up for Eid-ul-Fitr. People in large numbers flocked to markets across Kashmir to shop for the occasion. From bakery shops to clothing, an ocean of people queued up in readymade stores, street vendors and crockery shops to purchase the best for the festival. Kashmir’s commercial hub, Lal Chowk witnessed abuzz around the city as shopping kicked off in full swing despite heavy rain for Ramadan. People are all set to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with full enthusiasm.
