MP minister sparks controversy, says 'terrorists study in madrassas'

Madhya Pradesh culture minister Usha Thakur sparked a controversy, saying that 'terrorists are products of madrassas'. While addressing a press conference, she said, "all terrorists are products of madrassas and Jammu and Kashmir has turned into a factory of terrorists." She said the government must discontinue the funding to these madrassas. She cited the example of Assam government.
