Petitioners move SC challenging Uttarakhand HC demolition orders of illegal construction on railway land

As many as 400 families have been served eviction notices in Uttarakhand's Haldwani area after the high court had ordered the demolition following encroachment on a piece of land which is actually owned by the Indian Railways. Now, the petitioners have moved the Supreme Court challenging the high court’s order.
