Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released Rs 19,500 crore, the next installment of financial benefit under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, via video conferencing. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was also present at the occasion. Prime Minister interacted with farmer-beneficiaries during the event and also addressed the nation.
