PNB scam accused Mehul Choksi's pictures from Dominica surface

The first pictures of fugitive diamantaire and PNB scam accused Mehul Choksi surfaced on Saturday. He is in police custody in Dominica. The pictures were showing him sustaining injuries on his hands. Choksi went missing in Antigua and was rumoured to have fled to Cuba. Later, he was caught in Dominica on May 24. The High Court of Justice in Dominica had adjourned the case pertaining to the deportation of Choksi and deferred the hearing in the habeas corpus petition till Wednesday, June 2. The high court also asked the lawyers to not talk about the case as it is still sub-judice. On May 27, the court had restrained the government from repatriating Choksi to Antigua.
