Russian President Vladimir Putin is on a two-day visit to India for 19th Indo-Russian summit. During the visit, India and Russia are likely to sign a deal to procure S-400 Triumf air defence missile system. The Rs 39,000 crore deal is for acquiring five S-400 air defence system will bolster India's defence along the country's borders with Pakistan and China. During the discussions, two leaders are expected to review bilateral defence cooperation in wake of the US sanctions against Russian defence majors. Talks will also be held on regional and global issues, including US sanctions on the import of Iranian crude oil.
