“TMC’s Time Is Over” Amit Shah Tears Into TMC Over Infiltrators During Bengal Rally

The mortal remains of Chandranath Rath, personal assistant of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, were brought from a hospital in Madhyamgram to his residence after he was shot dead in West Bengal. Adhikari alleged that Rath was targeted because of his association with him and claimed a political motive linked to his earlier victory over Mamata Banerjee in Bhabanipur. He described the killing as premeditated, citing reports of four bullets being fired. Adhikari demanded strict punishment for those involved and assured support to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, a family member expressed grief and sought life imprisonment for the accused, rejecting capital punishment while calling for justice in the case.
