Ukraine crisis: Injured Harjot returns home, admitted to RR hospital

It's a great relief for the family members of Harjot Singh after he has been brought back to Delhi on a special IAF flight from Ukraine. Harjot Singh, a resident of Delhi, had sustained four bullet injuries, including one in the chest while trying to escape Kyiv. The 31-year-old was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kyiv. After returning to India, he has been admitted to RR hospital for treatment. Harjot and his two friends were trying to escape from Kyiv to the city of Lviv in a taxi when the bullet hit him. India has so far evacuated around 16,000 Indian students from Ukraine through eastern European countries since February 22.
