Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s Son Surrenders In POCSO Case, Remanded Till May 29

Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s son Bandi Bhageerath surrendered before the police in connection with a POCSO case in Telangana’s Medchal-Malkajgiri district. Advocate Karunasagar said Bhageerath voluntarily surrendered near Tech Park at around 8:15 pm and fully cooperated with the investigation. He was later produced before a magistrate, who remanded him to judicial custody till May 29. The counsel said Bhageerath has shared all information with investigators and expressed confidence that the allegations would be cleared through due process. Meanwhile, Pet-Basheerabad Police took him to Medchal District Hospital for medical tests after questioning at the police station. The case is being investigated under the provisions of the POCSO Act.
