Vijay Faces Political Storm After Vande Mataram Played Before Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu

A major political controversy has erupted in Tamil Nadu after Chief Minister Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony began with Vande Mataram instead of Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. CPI leader M Veerapandiyan has criticised the sequence, calling it a violation of Tamil Nadu’s traditional protocol, while supporters defend the move as compliance with the Centre’s latest directive on the national song.
