Post-Poll Shift: Police Reduce Security At Mamata & Abhishek Banerjee's Homes, TMC HQ In Kolkata
Security arrangements outside Mamata Banerjee’s residence and key Trinamool Congress locations in Kolkata have been scaled down following the party’s defeat in the West Bengal assembly elections. Police withdrew additional personnel beyond Z+ security and removed high-tech barricades, replacing them with manual guardrails. The changes affect Mamata Banerjee’s home, the TMC headquarters, and Abhishek Banerjee’s office. The move comes after the BJP’s sweeping victory, winning 207 seats.
