Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is reportedly in the process of vacating his bungalow in Lutyens’ Delhi. On Friday afternoon, boxes were seen being loaded onto a truck outside of his house. The Housing Committee of Lok Sabha served Gandhi a notice to vacate the 12, Tughlaq Lane bungalow following his disqualification as a member. He was given a deadline of April 22 to move out. Gandhi was convicted and sentenced to two years imprisonment in a criminal defamation case in 2019 after making a remark about the surname of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As a result of his conviction, the Lok Sabha Secretariat disqualified Gandhi as an MP from Wayanad in Kerala.
