It was a moment of satisfaction for Isro chief S Somanath after some tense moments as the LVM3-M4 rocket put the Chandrayaan-3 in a precise orbit. This was followed by congratulatory messages, and some fell short of words to express their happiness. The Chandrayaan-3 is equipped with a lander, a rover and a propulsion module. The soft landing will be attempted on August 23, and if successful, this will make India the fourth country to achieve the feat.
