Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is currently focussing on Naira's surgery. Vedika has agreed to give her kidney to Naira but in exchange asks Kartik not to leave her. Vedika organises a Christmas party for the kids. Kartik is not opposing Vedika as he feels he owes it to her for having saved the love of his life, Naira.
