Pongal, Makar Sankranti and Lohri Special Wishes from Tamil TV celebrities

Pongal aka Thai Pongal, the festival of harvest is celebrated with regular festive fervour in Tamil Nadu and everywhere. Pongal is celebrated over 4 days in the name of Bhogi, Pongal (day to thank Sun God and farmers), Maattu Pongal (day to thank the cattle) and Kaanum Pongal. In other parts of India, Pongal is celebrated in different names like Makar Sankranti, Uttarayana Maghi, Magh Bihu or Bhogali Bihu. On account of Pongal, Tamil TV celebrities like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Tamil fame Idhazhika and Jaskaran Singh, Gayathri, Oviya serial fame Surendar Shanmugam and Vidhush Choudhary, Uyire serial fame Veerendra Chowdary aka Veera (actress Namitha’s hubby), Manishajith, Sona Nair, Saathvik, Fawaz Zayani and Tamizh have extended their wishes and special messages to fans. Idhazhika sings a few lines from a popular Pongal song and wishes the fans. Jaskaran wishes the fans for lots of happiness in this festive season. She adds that wearing new clothes (Saree) presented from her parents gives additional joy. Manishajith wishes fans to celebrate Pongal festival with the family members in their native. Manishajith says, she would pray to God that everyone should enjoy peace, happiness and good health. Vidhush wishes the audience for the festivals of Bhogi, Pongal, Maattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.
