In a shocking incident, a woman officer in the mining department was brutally attacked by dozens of goons belonging to the illegal sand mining mafia in Bihta district of Patna. The woman officer was dragged and attacked by several men and was threatened by the goons as well. Video shows people hurling expletives at the officer and threatening her with more violence. After the video went viral, police have arrested 44 people and more raids are underway. Three FIRs have been filed.
