Facebook is currently experiencing a glitch that has resulted in various users noticing posts of random people tagging famous celebrities and is filling user feeds with posts from celebrity accounts.

Many users reported issues with their news feed. Instead of seeing regular posts from friends, families or groups they follow, many people are being shown unrelated posts by strangers on celebrity pages. These include memes, weird comments, abusive words, etc posted by other users on the pages of the celebrities they follow.

This bizarre bug in the Meta-owned platform is disrupting the user experience as the anomaly in the newsfeed algorithm is making people think that their accounts have got hacked.

Various users are sharing screenshots of their feed being flooded by posts that are addressed to celebrities they follow.
People using Facebook used this glitch to their advantage, either by sending memes to celebrities that they know will be shared far and wide or posting jokes themed on the very outage.

As usual everyone rushed to Twitter to check if there were others facing the same issue.
