Watch: Teaser trailer for Lust Stories 2, ‘Cast Stories 2’ has healthy doses of humour and banter

Finally, Lust Stories 2 is releasing five years after the original Lust Stories which made waves on account of its bold themes and openly portraying taboo topics of the society. This time, the OTT channel has released an amusing innovative teaser trailer which has the ensemble cast for Lust Stories 2 reading the script while making disbelieving and witty comments about the plot that’s laid down on the pages.
The trailer that was recently released is titled Cast Stories 2 and features Neena Gupta, Kajol, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur and Angad Bedi with their hilarious reactions upon reading the script.
The promo starts with Neena Gupta being informed by an assistant off camera, “Madam, Dadi Ji ka role hai," to which she humorously quips back, “So, Daadiji can’t lust or what?” Next up is Vijay Varma, who first enquires, “Vicky busy tha kya?” (Was Vicky busy) making a reference to the original film which had Vicky. He then asks incredulously, “Am I the face of lust?” Then Mrunal Thakur can’t seem to hold back her tears while stating, “Kya likha hai? Wah!” (What a script? Too Good!) Tamannaah then seems to want to change a scene when she says, “Can I hold hands instead? Like really passionately?”
Kajol then hilariously asks whether a single scene is shot in a mustard farm, making a reference to the iconic scene in DDLJ. She comically asks the makers whether they are being stingy in the budgeting. Angad Bedi seems to be playing the fool when he says he can break dance and do Bhangra but maybe can’t do a lusty scene? Kajol adds further humour to the video when she says that violins are not only for romance, but they can also represent lust. She also says, “Every love story is a lust story too, right? ” (Why don’t we call this picture, sometimes love, sometimes lust?).
Tamannaah and Vijay look doubtful about who their co-actor in the film is. But when both are informed that they are paired together, they look very relieved. Vijay and Tamannaah were in the news recently for being in a relationship.
