’ where she stepped into the shoes of Jung Chan Young, a terminally ill woman who aspired to be an actress but ended up working as an acting coach.

2’, she was seen essaying the role of a doctor.
Reacting to the concerned fans, Mi Do recently opened up about her decision during an event. Assuring fans that they have nothing to worry about her, she said, “I am aware of some drama fans’ concerns about me, because of the performances as a doctor in my previous work. By becoming a terminally ill patient, my character drastically changed in Thirty-Nine.”
“I am certain that different sides will be presented and hope the viewers show love and support just like they did in Hospital Playlist” she further added.
Apart from Jeon Mi Do, ‘Thirty Nine’ also stars
Son Ye Jin and Kim Ji Hyun in the lead. The story of the series touches upon the life around friendship, romance and love of three close friends who are about to reach their 40s.
The series premiered on February 16 on an OTT giant platform and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:30 KST.
‘Thirty Nine’ is penned by Yoo Yeong Ah and directed by Kim Sang Ho.
