Since his discharge from military service, BTS's Kim Seokjin, popularly known as Jin, has been hot in the pot. The oldest among the global K-pop group has kept wowing people with appearances on some variety shows and releases of a few new songs. New updates show that Jin is set to appear as a guest in an outdoor variety show.
Filming for PD Ryu Ho Jin's new K-food show, Handsome Guys, has begun with shoots at various locations in Busan, reports Star News on October 28. Lee Yi Kyung, Cha Tae Hyun, Shin Seung Ho, Kim Dong Hyun, and Oh Sang Wook form the regular cast of the show, and Jin confirmed to appear in the first episode.
Immediately after his demobilization, Jin appears to have returned to fame without much of a break. Starting December 1, his new variety show - titled Handsome Guys- formerly known as Hall of Fame- has started on tvN where it will feature the group tasting different local delicacies unique to South Korea. This will be his third variety show since his military service, after Run Jin and a guest appearance on MBC's The Half Star Hotel in Lost Island.
Right after the report, tvN confirmed the news, saying, "PD Ryu Ho Jin will be launching the new program Handsome Guys featuring fixed cast members Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Dong Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Shin Seung Ho, and Oh Sang Wook.". They further announced that BTS's Jin would be the guest for the first episode. Details would be shared in due course, but specifics on the locations and schedules of filming would be kept under wraps to ensure safety and smooth production.
In addition to television work, Jin is also concentrating on his music career. In November, the 31-year-old singer will make his solo debut with an album titled 'Happy'. To build hype for the solo album, he has also released a pre-release track called "I'll Be There," which has recently been receiving a lot of fan attention. Earlier this month, he dropped an extended version of "Super Tuna," another hit, which he published in December 2021 to celebrate his birthday.
With new projects and music in the pipeline, Jin keeps engaging his fans and marks a vibrant return to the entertainment world.
