Pak denies Khan heart attack report

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s disgraced nuclear scientist A Q Khan has suffered a heart attack, the <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Dawn </span>newspaper reported on Monday, quoting hospital sources.<br /><br />But the government denied the report. "Khan has not suffered heart attack," foreign office spokesman Masood Khan told reporters.Asked whether Khan was under house arrest, he said: "Strict security restriction have been imposed on him." The Dawn quoted officials at the hospital of the Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) as saying: <br /><br />"Dr Khan is under treatment at his residence and his condition is stated to be critical." A heart specialist along with a cardiac machine was "secretly" sent to his house, the paper said.</div> </div>
