In U-turn, Bangladesh reinstates official, a Yunus aide, two days after resignation
DHAKA: Two days after a key aide of Bangladesh chief adviser Muhammad Yunus stepped down from his post, the interim govt reinstated him on Thursday, saving itself from a second resignation of a senior official in a span of 10 days.
On Dec 24, Khuda Baksh Chowdhury, special assistant to Yunus for the home ministry, stepped down following large-scale violence in the country.
