After a scoreless start, the first period saw a flurry of action. Arizona took the lead with a goal from Matias Maccelli, assisted by J.J. Moser and Alex Kerfoot. However, the Jets quickly responded with two goals in less than a minute. Scheifele scored his sixth of the season with a backhander, and Vladislav Namestnikov capitalized on a fluke play, deflecting the puck off the skate of Arizona's Lawson Crouse.

The second period featured a tied game, with Arizona's Matt Dumba redirecting a pass from Travis Boyd to beat Laurent Brossoit. However, Scheifele once again played a crucial role in breaking the tie, setting up Kyle Connor for a goal that put the Jets ahead 3-2.

In the third period, Scheifele continued his stellar performance, assisting on a two-on-one play with Josh Morrissey, who scored an insurance goal. Mason Appleton sealed the victory for the Jets with an empty-netter.

The win extended Winnipeg's successful run, as they have now won six of their last seven games. Scheifele's offensive contributions and the team's overall resilience were key factors in securing the victory over the Coyotes.
