Mahhi Vij fasts during Ramzan

TV's popular actress Mahhi Vij is a household name. Recently seen playing the grown up Nimboli in 'Balika Vadhu', Mahhi Vij has been keeping fasts during Ramzan for quite some years now.
For the past few years, Mahhi fasts every alternate day during the holy month of Ramzan.

The actress while talking to an online portal, said, "I don't follow any particular religion.I go to a gurudwara and keep chaliyas (40-day fast in Sikhism) and also fast during Ramzaan."

Mahhi wakes up early morning to eat and then in the evening, breaks her fast on the sets of 'Balika Vadhu'. She admits it to be tough but loves doing it.
