Barely three months since its launch, Sharmin Kazi, who plays protagonist Avanti Bansal in Yash Patnaikâs 'Million Dollar Girl', has been replaced. Actress Sana Sheikh, who was last seen in 'Gustakh Dil', has stepped into her shoes.

Says Sharmin, âThe show is a 100-episode series and I was contracted for 60 episodes. I was in talks for another project and am expecting it to come through.

Says Sharmin, âThe show is a 100-episode series and I was contracted for 60 episodes. I was in talks for another project and am expecting it to come through.
They started auditioning other girls to play my character and I am no longer a part of the show. I believe Sana Sheikh has been finalised to play my role. I am sure she will do justice to the character. There are no hard feelings.â
