The upcoming Honda City facelift will likely be a petrol-only offering, with the carmaker ditching the 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (121 PS/145 Nm) will be upgraded to comply with the RDE norms, while it could also be made E20 fuel compliant. The 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine on the City Hybrid is also expected to be introduced on some lower variants to make it more accessible.
