2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross launched at Rs 25.5 lakh: Updates on Toyota Hilux rival
Isuzu Motor India has launched the updated 2026 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup in the Indian market. The new pickup is offered in four variants - Z Standard, Z Premium, Z Prestige standard and Z Prestige premium with prices ranging from Rs 25.50 lakh to Rs 30.28 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the pickup online or by visiting their nearest dealership, deliveries are expected to begin soon.
The 2026 update brings minor cosmetic tweaks and an expanded equipment list, while also dropping the 4x2 option from the D-Max V-Cross lineup. With the 4x4 drivetrain now offered as standard, the entry-level variant has become Rs 1.23 lakh more expensive than before. At the top end, the D-Max V-Cross Z Prestige Premium 4x4 AT sees a price increase of Rs 63,000. Let’s take a look at what’s new in the Toyota Hilux rival.
On the exterior, the Z Prestige trim receives black grille surrounds, while the fog lamp housings are now largely body-coloured. The earlier black cladding and silver skid plate on the lower bumper have been replaced with a body-coloured finish. Along the sides, the wheel-arch cladding has been removed. The Z Prestige variant now rides on new 18-inch 12-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the Z Standard continues with 16-inch steel wheels. The outside rearview mirrors feature slimmer LED turn indicators. At the rear, the only change is the replacement of the chrome bumper trim with gloss-black plastic.
Moving inside, the overall layout is the same but it now features brown leatherette trim on the door pads and dashboard. Features include a larger 10.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, an eight-speaker sound system, electronic seat adjustment for the driver seat, type-C charger port, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs and more.
The pickup continues with the same 1.9-litre diesel engine producing 163hp and 360Nm, paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. However, the model is now offered only with a 4x4 configuration. An auto-locking differential has also been made standard across all variants to enhance off-road capability.
