The Italian police force has been assigned modified

Lamborghini

Huracans to help them better enforce the law. The supercar, it is reported, will be used to patrol highways around Bologna and will primarily be targeted against drivers who violate speed restrictions.

The Huracan is a widely recognised supercar from the iconic Italian company. It is powered by a V-10 engine which is belts out 610 hp of power. Going from naught to 100kmph takes a brazenly quick 3.2 seconds and the car maxes out at a top-speed of 325kmph. The cars for the Italian police department have been additionally modified to help personnel apprehend traffic violators and criminals more effectively.

Presented in the official blue colour of Italian police, the customised Huracans reportedly have pre-assigned police tablet PCs incorporated, a standard-issue gun holster, portable extinguisher, among other features. The supercar will soon also be used for other non-police emergency duties like transportation of blood and organs for medical purposes.
