Maruti Suzuki to increase car prices from this date: Here's by how much
Maruti Suzuki India today announced that it will increase the prices of its models across the portfolio by up to Rs 30,000. The revised prices will come into effect from June 2026. The company also stated that the exact quantum of the price hike will vary depending on the model.
The company said it will pass on part of the rising input costs to customers as inflationary pressures and a challenging cost environment continue to persist. It added that efforts made over the past few months to absorb the impact through cost-cutting measures were not sufficient. The company, however, said it would continue working to keep the burden on customers to a minimum. Maruti Suzuki India’s latest price hike follows similar revisions announced earlier in FY2027 by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hyundai Motor India, which increased prices by 0.5% to 2.5%. Unlike its peers, Maruti Suzuki had not implemented any price revision at that time.
Maruti Suzuki sells its passenger vehicles through two retail networks - Arena and Nexa. The Arena channel handles models such as the Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza and Victoris, mainly targeting the mass-market segment. Its Nexa outlets retail premium and utility vehicles, including the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6 and Invicto. The newly launched e Vitara electric SUV has also been included in the Nexa portfolio as the company strengthens its presence in the EV space.
