Volkswagen India recently revealed the new Volkswagen Tayron R-line SUV in the Indian market. The new Tayron will sit at the top of Volkswagen’s India lineup, positioned above the Tiguan R-Line. •Powerful, smooth engine

The new Volkswagen Tayron R-line is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels. The engine powering the Tayron is a proven unit shared with several Audi, Volkswagen and Skoda models, making it a tried-and-tested option that delivers reliable and capable performance.

The Volkswagen Tayron R-Line is characterised by a solid build and a restrained design approach. The SUV feels well assembled, underscoring Volkswagen’s emphasis on structural strength and long-term durability.
