Maserati MSG and Jaguar TCS were the only two teams to have both their drivers make it to the top 8, while Neom McLaren, DS Penske, and Nissan each had one driver reach the Quarter Finals.

Semi Finals

Given the duel format that is followed in Formula E, Sebastian Buemi, Mitch Evans, Edoardo Mortara and Sam Bird were the four drivers with the better timings than their counterparts (mentioned above), and hence, made it to the Semi Finals. However, with Rast, Mortara and Bird having their times deleted for exceeding track limits, Vergne progressed straight through to the Finals.

Finals

In the end, it was Mitch Evans that managed to grab his first pole of the Formula E season 9 at the Hyderabad E-Prix after getting the better of Jean-Eric Vergne by nearly three-tenths. Jaguar TCS Racing is calling it its second home-race, as its the home of the parent company Tata. Hence, Jaguar would certainly be aiming for a victory at the Hyderabad Street Circuit.
