However, the Dutch racing driver has previously expressed that he does not want to keep racing in Formula 1 for as long as some other senior drivers.
Verstappen stated that he currently enjoys racing in Formula 1 - the epitome of motorsports, with the two-time World Champion involved in a contract with Red Bull Racing until 2028. However, Verstappen has now revealed that he also wants to try other disciplines of racing.

"I want to do other things as well. I know my contract runs until 2028. I will be 31 at that time. I'm probably still going to be competitive for a few more years after that. But in those years I also want to experience other things and just have a bit more fun with less pressure and less of a schedule.”
Upon being asked what kind o racing he would be interested in after leaving Formula 1, the Red Bull driver revealed it would be “mainly endurance”, having previously expressed an interest in entering the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Nonetheless, it's probably still a long time before we see Max Verstappen quitting F1 in favour of other endeavours.
